Law of Attraction – Can Desires be Attracted?

As a civilian in the 21st century, many of us have an extensive list of things we crave – some of which may be crucial to our life and some which would simply make us happier in a direct or indirect manner.  The Law of Attraction is a belief which argues that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, one can bring positive or negative experiences into their life. The Law states that every positive or negative event which has occurred in your life, has been attracted by you and your thought process.

Relax your mind (i.e – meditate)

This will increase your brain power and put your mind in a relaxed state, which could potentially allow you to have a positive outlook on life.

Have faith in your actions

Trust yourself! Be sure of your wants in life and assure yourself that you are going to achieve what you are aiming for.

Constantly write your “wish” down

Writing down your wish will inevitably remind you of your desire, further encouraging you to view it in a positive manner.

Show gratitude in your life

Become aware of your surroundings and appreciate what you have.

In order to successfully achieve your goals in life, it is imperative that you have the right mindset. Being a student, I understand how chaotic our daily lives can often be and how a build up of anxiety can occur. During stressful times, one has to attract joyous events and according to the law- the only thing you have to do is to maintain an optimistic approach towards things in  life. Be it that IB Physics test on forces, or that IB History essay about Hitler’s rise to power, you always have to aim to attract that 7! On the other hand, be it an AP calculus test, or even an AP economics test, try to attract that 5! Success is relative, and you can’t assume you will get an excellent mark without putting in effort and working towards it, however your positive approach is bound to be beneficial.
