Now that it’s officially autumn, slowly getting cold outside, and approaching October break I thought it would be the perfect time to let you all know about some TV shows coming out this season.

The Good Doctor: September 25th

This show follows a young surgeon with Savant syndrome who has just been recruited into the pediatric surgical unit of a prestigious hospital. The drama is based around the question of whether or not someone like him, who doesn’t have the ability to relate to people, actually have the capability to prosper in this unit and ultimately save lives.

SEAL Team: September 27th

This action drama follows the lives of a team through their training as Navy Seals. We see the ins and outs of them planning and executing the most high stakes missions. This series is perfect for those who like to see action within their drama shows.

The Gifted: October 2nd

The Gifted is based in a world where mutated humans are treated with distrust and fear. So when two “ordinary” parents discover their children possess mutant powers the family is forced to go on the run. The show follows the family who end up joining up with an institute for mutants who battle to try to achieve peaceful co-existence between those with mutant powers and those who are ordinary humans.

Valor: October 9th

This drama follows two members of an elite unit of helicopter pilots whose goal is to rescue a group of MIA soldiers. The series is told in the present and in the past through flashbacks of their failed mission which resulted in the capture of the MIA soldiers. Throughout the season both military and personal secrets are uncovered. If you enjoy a drama filled with mystery this is the show for you.

Splitting Up Together

Splitting up together is based on the 2016 Danish series of the same name. This comedy follows a couple whose love and marriage is reborn through their divorce. If you enjoy tricky situations and complicated romance with a whole lot of comedy, this show will be perfect for you.

Dynasty: October 11th

This show is a reboot of a 1980’s soap of the same name. The show follows two of America’s wealthiest families as they feud for control over their fortune and children. The main drama revolves around Fallon Carrington, the daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington, and her soon-to-be stepmother Cristal, who is marrying into this wealthy family and America’s most powerful class.
