You are all cordially invited the 15th Annual Noémie’s Hope Benefit Concert, which will be taking place on March 12th at the Zug Campus. The night will consist of various musical performances, with all proceeds from the night going to the The European Leukodystrophy Association (ELA) ( and La Fondation Théodora  (

Established in 2003 by our own Adeline and Francois Lordet after their daughter Noémie passed away at seven months from Krabbe’s disease, the benefit concert has a focus on raising awareness and money to treat the Leukodystrophies. The Leukodystrophies are a set of rare inherited genetic diseases that affect the central nervous system by disrupting the maintenance and growth of the protective sheath (white matter) surrounding the nerve cells. The most affected areas of the body tend to be the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Due to the progressive and degenerative nature of the disease, the disorder tends to worsen over time. While there is no cure for many of the disorders, there are treatments available such as medication and physical therapy, and the ELA is making progress in gene therapy to treat the diseases.

The night also raises money for La Fondation Théodora, which is a group of professional artists that perform in children’s wards of hospitals as ‘Clown Doctors’. The organization currently delights and entertains sick children in 8 countries and in 120 hospitals.

We hope to see you there this Sunday to support this wonderful cause!
