Winter is finally here! The first proper snow fell over the weekend and covered the ground in a soft, albeit cold, white blanket and just like the fresh new snow its time for a fresh new winter wardrobe. Winter is one of the more difficult fashion seasons to rock. It is not like autumn where you can wear cute dresses and tights or a light jumper paired with a scarf, in winter you need to wrap up head to toe and it’s not always the most stylish of looks. So here are a few tips on how to dress to help keep feeling warm and looking great this snowy season.

1. Try a fur (faux, of course) vest!

This stylish yet snuggly addition is perfect for winter, its yet another layer which will keep your torso warm especially with the soft insulated fur. Make sure to pair it with a long sleeved top under neath though!

2. Thick scarves!

This is one of the more obvious tips but make sure you go for a thick and soft material to ensure it will keep your neck warm. If you choose a long scarf and wrap it around your neck several times it makes for a stylish accessory and keeps everything nice and toasty.

3. Boots and knee high socks!

Toes and fingers are always the first to go numb so make sure you’re wearing some thick socks.

4. Wear thermals under your jeans!

You can layer as much as you want on top but its often your bottom half that gets the brunt of the cold so this is a great trick to keep your legs warm but without wearing snow trousers! Wear an extra pair of thermals, leggings or tights underneath your chosen trousers to stay warm!
